The food, in general, was quite good, with plenty of options to choose from. The new Tapas restaurant was our favorite. We mainly ate at the buffets for our meals, occasionally trying one of the four a la carte restaurants. While we used to enjoy going to the beach, we found it too windy this time around.
The pool area is a great place to relax and unwind, and we spent most of our time there. The standard rooms could use some updating, as the showers are small, and the patio doors and furniture are outdated. However, we found the loud music from the nearby Pearl night club to be bothersome, so we switched back to the standard side as soon as we could. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff did their best to accommodate our room requests.ĭuring our last visit, we were offered an upgrade to the "Exclusive" part of the resort, which had a nicer room than the standard buildings. The resort's proximity to the airport is another plus, as it's only a 15-20 minute drive away, which is a relief after a long plane ride. They always make us feel welcome and go above and beyond to ensure we have a great stay. We keep coming back because of several reasons, but the standout feature is the staff's friendliness.
